SONYA CAPRIKADO

HAMBURG (GERMANY)

Sonya Caprikado paints what we feel. Bodies have always been a distinct art form for her. Her works often delve into themes of body, love, self-love, relationships, and emotions for a reason. Sonya's inspiration is drawn from movies, books, photos, and real people.

The contemporary artist works with both digital techniques and traditional oil or acrylic paints. Her digital pieces resemble authentic oil paintings due to a special smudge effect. Using intense colors and expressive brushwork, she creates vibrant and captivating scenes. Their strong emotional resonance inspires love and appreciation for our body's aesthetics.

MADRID (SPAIN)

The magic, charm and beauty of his native Colombia, were sources of inspiration for Perkys, a young artist, who began to show his talent at a very early age making sculptures in clay and cardboard. At the age of 16, he left the town of Aguas Blancas, fleeing from violence, and moved to Valledupar where he began his training at the School of Fine Arts. He excelled as a student achieving a scholarship in the Faculty of Arts at the University of Cesar, where he finally got his graduation. Looking for other sights, he moved to Spain in 2018, settling in Madrid and achieving in a few months to make his first work: a mural in the house of the famous artist Nacho Cano.

Manuel is handling his success very well and his parents Manuel Díaz and Tamara Domingo support him 100%, but say they sometimes have to remind people that Manuel is still a child. "We are the least fun part. We try to make sure that gallery owners, collectors and others remember that Manu is an artist, but he is also a child. If people want Manu's paintings in their gallery they cannot specify a delivery date, because Manu is not a factory, he paints when he feels like it," said Manuel's father. “I want to do the things that other children do, like playing with my friends and my brother, and playing sports,” says Manuel, who says he has fulfilled his dream. “I would advise children to never stop pursuing their dreams. We are all diamonds and we must find our place to shine. I focused on art and look what I've achieved,” he says. “My work is being recognised here all over the world. Let children pursue their dreams, because dreams do come true." Manuel's T-shirt has a crown and a heart, which he says are symbols of his work and his position on life.

ANTON FUCHS

“Life in its simplest form, the connection and relation of all that exists” – Anton Fuchs’ own description of his work: bronzes, wax figures, collages, paintings on canvas. He often chooses to combine very dissimilar materials, such as lead and glass; wax and metal; and gold, oil, and cement. His design process consciously uses both creativity and coincidence. Action and reaction play in his thoughts, and are implemented in abstract form. Respectful handling of living things and resources is the leading motif of his work. Anton Fuchs gladly combines colors that would never fit together under traditional thought. As he works, they are superimposed and woven together. Now Anton Fuchs has created an Art on Strings masterpiece named „Schwarzes Gold“.

CLAUDIA KEUPEN

What´s beyond sound?

Winner of the "Artists of Mallorca" 2023 art award, works in a multidisciplinary way and combines classic techniques of contemporary painting with digital art.  Inspired by poetry and song lyrics, she questions today's world and seeks a direct dialogue with the audience with her questions.

For the "Art on Strings" project, Claudia Keupen has painted her digital protagonist "The Realityrebel" on three violins and brought her artistic statement to life with a video installation: the amazement of the world of music in the digital era.

"The Realityrebel" is a small digital rat that questions reality in a charming yet profound way. "What is beyond sound?" is the question with which "The Reality Rebel" sets out to explore the mystery of sounds, tones, frequencies and vibrations.  With her frame-by-frame video installation, Claudia Keupen literally drops her digital protagonist into the world of 21st century music.

With "Sound Rebel", Claudia Keupen creates a bridge between the past and future of the world of music by staging the little rat as a mediator between the worlds: the world of traditional music, embodied by the violin, from which he sets off to explore the digital universe of sounds, in which music appears as digital signs and pulsating spots of colour.

Questioning "what is your vision of sound", she involves the audience and invites them to reflect on the world of sound.
